NoobProMax

Terms of Service

By opening a workspace on NoobProMax you agree to the terms below. They are short, and they are meant to be read.

The service

NoobProMax is a free, open-source collaborative code editor that runs in a browser. It is provided as-is, at no charge, with no account and no contract for continued availability. The source code is published at GitHub.

Workspaces are unlisted, not private

An ordinary workspace URL is a shared secret only to the extent that the name is hard to guess. Anyone who has or discovers the address can read and change its contents. Do not put credentials, personal data or anything confidential into an ordinary workspace.

End-to-end encrypted rooms are the mechanism for confidential content. Because their keys never reach the server, a lost link means permanently lost content, and we cannot help you recover it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use NoobProMax to:

  • store or distribute malware, phishing kits or other harmful code;
  • host content that is illegal, that infringes someone else's rights, or that sexualises minors;
  • harass others, or deliberately overwrite or destroy a workspace you know belongs to someone else;
  • automate abusive traffic, scrape workspaces in bulk, or otherwise place disproportionate load on the service.

Your content

You keep every right you already had in whatever you write. NoobProMax claims no ownership over it. You grant only the permission technically required to run the service — storing your content and transmitting it to the people you share the workspace with.

You are responsible for what you put into a workspace and for having the right to put it there.

Availability and removal

The service may change, break or be discontinued at any time, without notice. Workspace content may be removed if it violates these terms, if a valid legal request requires it, or as part of ordinary maintenance. There is no guaranteed retention period and no backup you can call on — keep your own copy of anything that matters.

No warranty

NoobProMax is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. It is not represented as a secure system of record and should not be relied upon as one.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither the operator of NoobProMax nor its contributors are liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of your use of the service. This applies even where we have been advised that such damage was possible.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes

These terms may be revised. Continuing to use NoobProMax after a revision means you accept it. The date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect.
